Historic Replacements Photo Removed from University of Minnesota over a Ciggie
Who narced?

Photos of the Replacements have been removed from the Coffman Memorial Union at the University of Minnesota after some students decided to narc. Two photos of the band in Coffman's elevator were taken when they played a hometown show there in 1985. Until recently, they were hanging in Coffman, until complaints came in because Paul Westerberg is smoking in one of them.
A librarian at the university inquired about the missing photos and confirmed that students can't handle a photo of a cigarette. "The Coffman welcome desk said they receive 'dozens and dozens' of complaints every year about @TheReplacements photos because one of them shows Paul smoking," he tweeted. "Apparently that is too much for UMN students' delicate sensibilities."
The clerk the librarian talked to said that the photos may be placed elsewhere in the building, but "it won't be for a while" — as if a mere snapshot of a lit ciggie is a fire hazard in and of itself.
Does the University of Minnesota not have a minimum age requirement for its attendees? Because we're having trouble understanding how a bunch of big babies got admitted into a university program.

Right and left sides. They were there last week. I haven't asked anyone in Coffman about it. pic.twitter.com/H0MmE1xclD

I went to Coffman Memorial Union today to see for myself if @TheReplacements photos have been removed from the elevator lobby. They have. Such a tragedy.

They also said they may put the photos back up somewhere else in the building, but "it won't be for a while." I tried to convey the significance and importance of the photos, but they were unimpressed. I believe this is the first time I have been negatively impacted by "wokism."
