Here Are the Winners of the 2021 Golden Globe Awards

Don't worry, 'Schitt's Creek' took home plenty of accolades
Here Are the Winners of the 2021 Golden Globe Awards
Last night, awards season kicked off in proper with the 2021 Golden Globe Awards. Hosted by Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, the show saw nominees accept their awards while socially distanced at home.

Leading up to the show, there was plenty of controversy behind the scenes. One such controversial factor was the two nominations for Sia's Music — a film that has been blasted for its offensive depiction of autism

That wasn't addressed at the show (and Music also didn't win any awards), but many people — including Fey, Poehler and Hollywood Foreign Press Association vice-president Helen Hoehne — did acknowledge the fact that not a single member of the voting body was a Black person.

"We recognize we have our own work to do," Hoehne said. "We must have Black journalists in our organization."

There were still plenty of positive moments, including two wins for Schitt's Creek. The beloved Canadian show took home Best Television Series, Musical or Comedy and a Best Actress in a TV Series award for Catherine O'Hara.

Other big winners from the night included Nomadland, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm and The Crown, as well as Chadwick Boseman, Andra Day, John Boyega and Gillian Anderson.

Watch the Schitt's Creek acceptance speeches below, where you'll also find the complete list of winners.
