Rumours started after an Instagram account posted a photo of a protesting crowd with tour dates listed for 2020 late last night (October 31). The post claims the band will be performing a short run of shows in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and the Coachella festival in California.
The same photo was also shared by guitarist Tom Morello four days earlier but without the tour dates. A Rage Against the Machine fan account added to the conversation claiming musician Juliette Lewis, who is currently dating RATM drummer Brad Wilk, reached out to them and confirmed the shows are legitimate.
According to Forbes, a longtime associate of the band reached out to them to say, "The band's social media is accurate."
See the posts down below, where you'll also find all the reunion dates revealed so far.
The last time Rage performed live was in July 2011 at the L.A. Rising festival in California. Since then, the band minus vocalist Zack de la Rocha have been touring and recording with members of Public Enemy and Cypress Hill as Prophets of Rage.
